                                                       FX Nytro MTX Turbo:
Unleash the potential of your FX Nytro by bolting on an additional 65 HP with the PUSH TURBO kits available exclusively at PUSH TURBO Dealers in the U.S.A (Brown's Leisure World in Canada). PUSH TURBO kits are designed to run on premium pump gas and offer significant performance gains across the powerband. Units are engineered to be light weight, quick spooling and ultra reliable. The Nytro makes 198 HP properly set up at 8 psi of boost.

The PUSH TURBO kit is specifically calibrated to work in tandem with the Yamaha fuel injection system components for optimum engine performance and running quality. It fits perfectly within the chassis and has an exceptional fit and finish. Additionally, the system includes a clutch kit calibrated to provide excellent torque transfer to the track. All this means consistent, hassle-free operation allowing you to spend more time riding and less time wrenching.

Assembly couldn't be easier because the PUSH TURBO is a true plug and play system, meaning all electrical connections plug directly into your stock wiring harness with no cutting or splicing required. The turbo kit comes as pre-assembled sub components for quick and easy installation, requiring no welding thus decreasing overall shop time and labor costs compared to other kits. The PUSH TURBO kit has a 1 year limited warranty.

PUSH TURBO competed against the other major turbo kit manufacturers in the 180 hp range.  The PUSH TURBO KIT IS THE ONLY TURBO SYSTEM TO PASS YAMAHA`S evaluation. That is why the PUSH TURBO system was sold by YAMAHA, PUSH TURBO also passed at slightly higher boost levels 7-8 psi compared to other manufacturers target of 5-6 psi. That is why the kits true hp rating is 198 at sea level.

PUSH TURBO invented the no weld  NYTRO turbo system for three reasons 1= To use the perfectly tuned header. YAMAHA spent a lot of time engineering the header. It doesn't make any sense to remove a header that makes 15-20 hp, to put a car like exhaust manifold on, to mount the turbo on the sled and lose that power. Placing the turbo at the end of a header will always give you better throttle response because you not only gain the headers hp you benefit from the expanding exhaust gasses which puts more power to the turbine wheel.
2= Reliability. By using the factory muffler attachment system we dampen the vibration and chassis flex to prevent the header from cracking. 3= Easy to install.

PUSH TURBOS intake system is engineered for performance and reliability.
My first design while testing was all aluminum with brackets welded on and fastened to the frame and tunnel. Over a short time the brackets broke and the tube wore against the frame and leaked. The next design which is in the kit, uses aluminum under the tunnel and stainless steel to pass through the tunnel and go along the frame. The stainless slides on the aluminum rather than chafe during chassis flex. The intake manifold is a runner design with one main tube with 3 smaller tubes coming off at a 90 degree angle and the bov at the end of the main tube. This is one of the best ways to create equal flow and pressure to each cylinder. We do not use an intercooler or recommend one that is placed under the hood. In my research and testing, intercoolers will always cause a decrease in flow and pressure. So right from the get go, we lost some performance. Now we need to gain it back by increasing the turbo's speed to maintain the same boost. Now you've just lost some more on off throttle response because the turbo is working harder. That's two negatives before we get to the big power gains. Now lets look at the location of the intercooler. Does it have cold air or snow moving through it in coincidently with the air temp rise? If it's under the hood that would be a NO. So, now we added pressure resistance which adds on off throttle response time. We added 10 pounds + of weight and now the cooler is a heat sink with lower boost temperatures cooling the cooler. (Dammit)  If its out from under the hood, positioned right, and a good design you will gain all those things you just read, minus the heat sink, and a whopping 5-7 percent of hp. That's 12 hp at 200 hp = 212 hp or 24 hp at 400 hp = 424 hp. So you have to ask yourself, is it worth it?
Maybe if you are racing and need all the hp you can get, like top fuel funny cars at 100 psi of boost or the world's fastest sled at 30 + psi of boost. Wait! They don't use a cooler. (Dammit)
So what is the purpose of running an intercooler? The main reason is to prevent detonation for the upper end of the fuel limits you are using. If you know the limits of your fuel, engine, and turbo system, and stay within those parameters you will have better all around performance without a cooler. The same limitations apply if you have a cooler! We know at 8 psi, 91 octane  and at 3000 ft you are plenty safe. And if you want to make more boost you may need to add better fuel along with engine work.

The oiling system on the PUSH TURBO kit is the only one not to require a return oil pump. This saves weight, install time and all the problems of wiring a pump or running one off the engine. Reliability. If is not there, it can't fail. The system consists of a turbo stand that also serves as a oil tank and oil cooler. One piece does it all. To understand how it works you must first understand how a dry oil sump works. (Like the NYTRO has.) The dry sump pulls all of the oil from the engine and pushes it into a tank creating a vacuum. I use the vacuum to suck the cooled oil from the turbo stand back to the valve cover. This is a balanced system. The oil tank can hold excess return oil that can't be siphoned back during certain conditions. This condition happens when you transition from non-aspirated to aspirated. You lose crank case vacuum to the turbo's oil tank for a moment but then is replaced by what ever boost pressure you are running. For example... 8 psi, there is now 8 psi of pressure in the tank to push the oil back to the valve cover. This is very affective and never has a failure.  As you can see there is a lot of thought and consideration involved. If something looks clean and simple, like a bike with no wires or cables on the bars, a hot rod with no door handles or trim, a PUSH TURBO kit, its not. It only looks that way. Whenever I design a turbo system I tell myself... There needs to be less parts. So I break it down til I can make some parts do two or more things and every part must be necessary and not a fix for something I could have designed out in the first place. Important: The PUSH TURBO kit is NOW available for operation at all elevations. While installation of this kit will not "void" your snowmobile's warranty, specific failures determined by Yamaha to have resulted from installation of kit components or other modifications may not be covered by the Yamaha limited warranty or extended service coverage.
