The new billet head is fundamentally different than the stock head in five difrent ways. First, the spark plug location is placed at the top rather than half way down. 2nd, The indexing of the plugs are rotated 90 degrees to be in line with the piston pin. This prevents the piston from rocking which promotes longer piston and ring life. The reason why the piston rocks is because one plug will fire first causing a load on that side of the pin first. When they are in line with the pin it doesn't matter if one fires first because the load is equal front to back. 3rd, The dome design.  4th, More cooling with better water flow. 5th, The head is more ridgid and keeps engine from twisting.                                                                                   399.00
